NeighborUp America is a grassroots movement to reconnect people across differences—racial, cultural, political, generational—by building strong, local community networks rooted in trust, care, and shared responsibility. We believe that real change begins not with sweeping policies or distant institutions, but with neighbors showing up for one another.

America.. it is what it is. And that’s a good thing.
Imperfect, unfinished, a vast, complex and dynamic landscape of ideas, dreams, hustles and power plays, of kindness and brutality, of ruthless ambition and great generosity, of countless faiths and every shade of race, of towering cities and bedrock small towns, populated by people of every possible life path and experience. America is unfinished; as a place, as an idea, as a promise. And that's a good thing because each new generation gets get's a chance to renew its commitment to help America achieve its promise and potential. But we need to stop listening to the loudest voices and start listening to each other; where we live, where we work, where we play and where we worship.​

In a time of increased isolation and divisiveness, we know neighboring can help us bridge differences and understand one another better. But how many of us are being good neighbors? About Us
NeighborUP America emerged from the work of Bill Traynor and Frankie Blackburn(Trusted Space Partners), two long time community organizers and community builders who practice and teach a form of community engagement known as Network Organizing. It's an approach that helps to support simple human-centered ways of connecting and building trusted relationships among strangers in community life.
